With heavy traffic expected around Woodfield Mall on Black Friday, Schaumburg police be directing travelers coming off I-290 southbound on West Frontage Road past Woodfield Road to East Higgins Road.
The modified route will be in effect from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29. Signage will be placed along the route to guide drivers.
Pace rider should note that routes 208, 554, 600, 606, 607 and 697 will be detoured on Black Friday. The list of changes can be viewed online at www.pacebus.com.
